#Pitchdis 2026

Let’s get straight to it - here are the dates for #PitchDis 2026!

Pitch Window - September 8 at 8 a.m. EDT until September 10 at 8 p.m. EDT.
Request Window - September 15 through September 18.

For those of you who participated last year (both by pitching and requesting!) the format will be the mostly the same. There are only a couple of minor changes:

Authors will still fill out a Google form during the pitch window and the pitch can still be a maximum of 300 characters. Genres and age groups will be in a separate section, so they will not be included in that character limit. You can choose a maximum of two genres; however, this year, if you choose “other”, you can only use that one and it will be limited to 20 characters. This is to ensure your pitches will be seen by the requesting agents and editors. If you’re genre is too specific, it may not be searchable.

Agents and Editors can register for the event via a different Google form (found here) beginning today and will receive log in information on September 14. This year, you will also receive an email within 48 hours after submitting the form to confirm you’re on the registered list. The pitches will be on our site, www.pitchdis.com, during the request window, and you may make requests simply by clicking the ones you like and adding them to your request cart! ***Please note that forms from vanity publishers or independent/freelance editors will not be accepted. Only editors from traditional publishing houses (including small presses) may register for the event.***
