information for agents & editors

If you are an an agent or acquiring editor we would love your participation in the next #PitchDis!

Before the event, please post a tweet with instructions on how participants can contact you if you want to see more of their work, and also include the submission materials you'd like to see - whether it's just a query letter or a certain amount of sample pages.

Follow the hashtag #PitchDis to see the pitches. If you are interested in a certain genre or age category, you can add those hashtags to the search. For example, if you just want to see YA science fiction, you can search #PitchDis #YA #SF. Just make sure to always include #PitchDis.

If you're interested in a pitch and want to see more, you can "like" that pitch. If possible, please also add a comment, letting the participant know you'd like to see their materials and where to find your submission requirements. Please note that some participants might send their materials in immediately, but others may take a while. We ask that you don't "unlike" a pitch (unless it was made by mistake) in order for participants to be able to track their requests easily.

Please note: #PitchDis participants self-identify as disabled. We ask that you do not ask about their disability when considering their work. Some participants may choose to self-identify in their query, but it should not be a requirement.

If you have any questions feel free to DM @PitchDis or email ContactPitchDis@gmail.com
