Ann Rose - Prospect Agency
ARoseHeadshot.jpg

Ann Rose has over the last few years been exploring this field by working and mentoring with literary agents in various capacities. Everything she has experienced from editorial work to the magic of finding the perfect match between author and editor has hardened her resolve to join this wonderful profession. Now she's thrilled to be building her own list and is actively seeking clients ready to grow amazing careers with her. Ann's perfect manuscript is a character driven story that isn't afraid to push boundaries. She loves an unlikeable character—even though she is incredibly likeable herself!

What she is looking for:

YA of all genres

MG of all genres, especially ones that push the boundaries of middle grade

Swoony romances

Light sci-fi or fantasy

Commercial fiction

Heartwarming (or heart wrenching) contemporaries

She’s always looking for unique voices, diverse perspectives, vivid settings, and stories that explore tough topics. Give her your dark and edgy stories with unlikeable characters.

You can find out more information about her or submit to her at Prospect Agency’s website: www.prospectagency.com.

She also tries to keep an up-to-date Manuscript Wish List at: https://www.manuscriptwishlist.com/mswl-post/ann-rose/.

Cortney Radocaj - Belcastro Agency
CRadocaj Headshot.jpg

Cortney Radocaj is a literary agent at the Belcastro Agency and is currently based in the Pacific Northwest; her recent sales include CITY OF SHATTERED LIGHT by Claire Winn (Flux 2021) and A FURRY FAUX PAW by Jessica Kara (Page Street 2022). As a queer, neurodivergent person, she loves to see healthy representation of queer/neurodivergent identities, especially in SFF. She adores seeing works that celebrate and normalize these experiences, particularly in YA, and works that allow characters from all marginalized identities to simply exist as they are.

What she is looking for:

In YA and adult, Cortney is currently looking for -

Fantasy

Horror

Sci-fi

Contemporary

Novels-in-verse

In YA only, she is also looking for thrillers.

You can submit to Cortney on her Query Manager page. You can also visit her personal website, www.cortneyradocaj.com, and her agency website, www.belcastroagency.com. And don't forget to follow her on Twitter @CortneyRadocaj.

What she is looking for:

Picture books

MG of all genres

Adult contemporary that feels like it should be new adult

Adult horror

She loves identity-driven stories that reflect the first-hand, lived experiences of the creators.
